Rescue of Two Hikers by Helicopter from Isolated Shore Due to Rising Tides Blocking Escape Path
Two hikers found themselves in a precarious situation on August 2, 2025, when rising tides cut off their exit route near Elephant Rock in Point Reyes National Seashore, California. The hikers were trapped, with no safe access available by either land or sea.
