"Republic's Housing Entity to Supply Water to Mancha Games"
The XXII Spartakiade of national sports, featuring the popular Mancalary Games, will soon take place in the picturesque Tatatin village of Ytyk-Kyuel. With the event fast approaching, preparations for the Mancalary Games are in full swing, including the crucial aspect of water supply.
To ensure a smooth and hygienic event, water resources have been thoroughly evaluated, with water bodies such as wells and a nearby river undergoing capacity and safety tests. Comprehensive quality checks have been carried out to ensure the water meets health standards, with parameters including microbial content, mineral levels, and chemical contaminants being closely monitored.
In preparation for the influx of participants, large-capacity potable water tanks have been installed at key locations such as sports fields, athlete accommodations, and spectator zones. Multiple water dispensing stations equipped with sanitation facilities have also been strategically placed for convenience and to prevent overcrowding.
Portable filtration units are employed to treat water from local sources, ensuring compliance with health standards. Chlorination and other appropriate disinfection methods are in place to maintain water safety, especially for drinking purposes.
Backup water reserves, including bottled water and additional tanks, have been stored to address any unforeseen shortages. In case of contamination or supply disruption, a quick-action emergency response plan has been established, involving local health and municipal authorities.
Environmental care is a priority during the event, with efforts being made to manage wastewater responsibly to prevent pollution of local water bodies. Participants and visitors are also being informed about water conservation practices during the event.
The water supply system for the Mancalary Games is being cleaned and disinfected, and three water tankers will be deployed to ensure uninterrupted water delivery. Utility workers are drilling a hydrogeological well for the Mancalary Games, and water-pumping equipment is being installed.
The GUP "JHK RS(Y)" is responsible for ensuring water supply to all facilities involved in the Mancalary Games. The games, which will take place from July 7 to 12, include competitions in 11 sports, such as khapsagay, mass-wrestling, Yakutian jumps, lightweight athletics, national and northern multi-sports, board games, weightlifting, shooting, traditional archery, and horse racing.
