"Sands of Disharmony" - Chico's Dramatic Exit from Promis under Palms
Changing one's opinion signifies a lack of resolve or weakness. - Repentant individuals make a shift in perspective
Stars | Reality | Controversy
Tensions remain high among the contestants of "Promis unter Palmen". On one side, we've got the "OG Gang" led by Christo (38), the "Bro", and his "Sista" Lisha Savage (38). On the other hand, we've got "Team Love", headed by Menowin Froehlich (37), who has morphed from a gentle Jesus to a vengeful Old Testament avenger. The team comprises Chico (44), Melody Haase (31), and Cosimo Citiolo (43). Although Team Love has the numbers, Christo and Lisha are undeniably the strongest individual players.
Menowin stirs things up, hoping to break OG's core. By assigning Christo and Lisha to different teams, one of them will be up for elimination, hopefully weakening the opposition. However, before the captain's game even begins, chaos unfolds with Chico...
Game Cancelled: Chico's Unwanted Advance
The contestants are buried in the sand in crazy costume. There's a bit of banter between Chico and Lisha. Chico attempts to belittle Lisha, "I wanna knock you off this show." Lisha retaliates, saying he only attacks women. "Because you've got a small d*ck," she said, using her crab claws to demonstrate.
Chico responds confrontationally, but most of his words are bleeped out. One thing that's still clear is, "Let me get close to you and see how you feel." The other contestants' expressions say it all. Chico's behavior is deemed "disgusting, it's enough to make your shoes fall off" by reality TV queen Claudia Obert (63). Chico is immediately escorted off the show due to his threatening behavior. "Sexual violence has no place here," the voiceover explains.
"Thank God" - Lisha's Satisfaction
After Chico's exit, the game continues, albeit thinner. Two members of Team Love proceed: Melody and Cosimo. Menowin's plan seems to be working, but then he twists his ankle and has to be taken to the hospital. He needs recovery, a "healer" (Cosimo). Melody fears the final departure of her crush Menowin and the dissolution of Team Love. But Menowin returns with the diagnosis of a trapped sciatic nerve. He can't contribute much to the game, though. "God is great," Lisha remarks, feeling the competition dwindle.
Chico's exclusion boosts Team OG. Nikola (28) returns, even though Christo had put him up for elimination after a confrontation with Chico. Nikola holds no grudge against his "Bro", but harbors resentment towards Melody, who gave the final blow.
"Feelings Aren't for Business!" - Melody's Lesson
Melody struggles emotionally as she drafts her team. Until Claudia sets her straight, "Emotions have no place in business!" Melody chooses Christo first, a clear warning. She picks Iris Klein (56) and Claudia, who aren't exactly powerhouses in the game.
Cosimo chooses Lisha, splitting the strong OG duo. He also picks the injured Menowin and Nikola. The latter is thrilled about the game until Claudia informs him that he's just a pawn for Christo and Lisha.
The two groups must navigate a water obstacle course using pontoons. Contestants must collect small balls along the way, with anyone dropping into the water ending their round.
Melody reveals her strategy openly. When it's her turn, she tosses the balls into the water. On her second attempt, she simply sits down. Christo and Iris put forth their best effort, but they can't prevent the team's defeat.
Christo's Change of Heart - A Twist in the Game
Christo begins to reconsider his actions seeing the chaos unfold. He realizes his actions had stirred up the team against the OGs. He promises not to vote against Christo, who would have otherwise been on the chopping block due to his schemes.
Claudia, the businesswoman with the clear mind, is taken aback by the emotional outbursts and confusion. Especially "the demagogue" and "sloppy rapper" Christo gets an earful from her.
Menowin Chooses Love - But Only Losses
Cosimo, whose vote as captain counts double in case of a tie, votes for Iris and against Christo. Nicely done, Cosimo, acting in the game's interest. Nikola also views Christo as a competitor. But he wants to face such a rival in the finale. He votes against Iris. It's up to Menowin now. He stays true to his word, securing Christo's place.
Iris is the sacrificial lamb in this crazy turn of events. First, due to Melody's refusal, then Menowin's change of heart. Even Melody acknowledges this. She offers to leave in Iris' place, but the rules don't allow for such a swap. The other big loser is Melody, who fell victim to Menowin's manipulations and then his change of heart.
Celebrities | Melody Haase | Menowin Fröhlich | Christo | Lisha Savage | Love | Change of Heart | Business
- Melody Haase grappled with her emotions as she made her team selections, a situation that Claudia Oberth, the businesswoman with a clear mind, deemed unsuitable for the game.
- In a surprising twist, Christo, the "demagogue" and "sloppy rapper," had a change of heart and ultimately promised not to vote against Menowin Merry, sparing him from elimination.
- Despite his team's victory, Menowin chose love over strategic advantage, securing Christo's place in the competition, while Melody, who had initially expressed a willingness to leave in Iris Klein's place, found herself a victim of Menowin's manipulations and change of heart.
