Public Service Broadcasting Announces Remix Album "Night Flight (The Last Flight Remixes)"

Fans of Public Service Broadcasting (PSB) are in for a treat as the band has announced the release of a new remix album titled "Night Flight (The Last Flight Remixes)". The album is set to be released on October 10, 2025, through the band's own So Recordings label.

The remix album reinterprets tracks from their 2024 album "The Last Flight", taking them into darker and more electronic directions. The album features reworkings from artists including The KVB, Gus Unger-Hamilton from alt-J, Peter Sandberg, Hainbach, EERA, and J. Willgoose, Esq.'s own Late Night Final project.

One of the standout remixes is "The Fun Of It (alt-J Remix)" by Gus Unger-Hamilton, which gives the original's sunny feel a shadowy tone. Other tracks on the album include "I Was Always Dreaming (Late Night Final Remix)", "Towards The Dawn (Alex Silva Remix)", "The South Atlantic (Peter Sandberg Remix)", "Electra (Late Night Final Remix)", "Arabian Flight (The KVB Remix)", "Monsoons (EERA Remix)", "A Different Kind Of Love (Hainbach Remix)", and "Howland (Late Night Final Remix)".

J. Willgoose Esq. of PSB has stated that it has been great to give "The Last Flight" a new lease of life and see what other artists have done with their music. He has also re-interpreted three tracks for the album as Late Night Final.

The concept of "The Last Flight" is based around the final doomed flight of pioneering female "aviatrix" Amelia Earhart. The album reached #3 on the UK Official Albums Chart and #1 on the Independent Albums Chart, making it the band's fifth studio album to achieve such success.

Public Service Broadcasting will perform two sold-out shows at London's Barbican on November 1, 2025. The shows will be followed by a European and North American tour, which is their first in North America in eight years.

Pre-orders for "Night Flight (The Last Flight Remixes)" are now available. With such a talented lineup of artists involved in the remixes, this album is sure to be a must-listen for fans of PSB and electronic music alike.
