In a tragic turn of events, Brett Favre, a renowned Grammy Award-winning songwriter, lost his life in a plane crash that occurred in a field in North Carolina. The incident took place on Thursday, September 18, just days after he was inducted into the prestigious Nashville Predators Hall of Fame.

Brett Favre, aged 57, was best known for his work on Carrie Underwood's hit song 'Jesus Take The Wheel', for which he won a Grammy for Best Country Song in 2007. His other notable works include 'Mr Know It All' for Kelly Clarkson and 'A Perfectly Good Heart' for Taylor Swift.

The plane involved in the crash was a Cirrus SR22T aircraft. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has launched an investigation into the incident, with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) also participating in the investigation.

Three people, including Brett Favre, lost their lives in the crash. The news of his untimely demise has sent shockwaves through the music industry. The Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, the Nashville Songwriters Association International, and numerous artists, such as Billy Ray Cyrus, Jessica Andrews, and Kenney Chesney, have expressed their condolences and mourned his loss.
