Hid Father's Remains in Italy - Son Provided Sanctuary - Remains transported to Italy; son secured accommodation

Hey there! Here's the scoop on a bizarre tale that's been making waves across the continent. Remember, this is the unfiltered version, so brace yourself for a wild ride.

A man from the quaint town of Traunstein, Upper Bavaria, has found himself in hot water with the law. Allegedly, he's the suspect in a brutal murder that saw him driving his father's lifeless body all the way to Naples, Italy, in the trunk of his car. And guess what? He's been committed to a psychiatric facility for his actions.

The local courts hadn't heard the final word from the accused. Seems like he kept mum during the proceedings, despite being diagnosed with a mental illness that made him unaccountable for his actions.

Before the trial began, though, he confessed to a psychiatric expert that one fateful day, he walked into the kitchen to find his father dead, amidst a sea of blood. He claimed to have seen two mysterious men in the kitchen, whom he suspected were members of the mafia. After that, he hopped behind the wheel, picked up his father's lifeless body, and headed straight for Naples.

According to the prosecution, the man himself used a 15-centimeter boning knife to stab his father at least six times, leading to his grisly demise. The 60-year-old victim sustained multiple fractures and succumbed to a cut to the neck. After wrapping the body in blankets and a carpet, the son calmly drove off with the gruesome cargo.

The psychiatric expert also shared that the accused had a relatively good relationship with his father and lived with him following his parents’ separation. The expert also noted the accused's extensive history of cannabis consumption and multiple stays in a psychiatric hospital.

The tragic story came to light when the old man's body was discovered in the trunk of his own car in Naples last August. the man was arrested nearby in Pomigliano d'Arco. A team of Bavarian investigators even traveled to Italy to interrogate the suspect.

Italian media reported that he'd been on the road for an estimated 18 hours with his dad in the trunk before the car broke down, forcing him to pull over and get arrested. Quite a tale, huh?
