Hit the Hillside, But Do It Safely: The Tragic Find in Black Canyon of the Gunnison Revealed

In a sobering twist for the outdoors community, human remains, suspected to belong to a missing Denver denizen, have been unveiled in the heart of Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park.

The vanished individual in question is Jordan Masters, a 31-year-old adventurer, who vanished on February 15, last seen within the park on February 13. Authorities from the National Park Service (NPS) have been tirelessly searching for Masters ever since.

On March 10, one of the park's search and rescue workers stumbled upon the remains in an incredibly remote and technical area, a discovery that sent shockwaves through the NPS. In a statement issued by the company, they confirmed their suspicion that the remains are indeed those of Masters.

However, the recovery of the remains is proving to be a challenge due to the complex topography. As stated in the NPS's announcement, efforts are being made to retrieve the remains for definitive identification by the medical examiner's office. The park's staff are now reaching out to neighboring parks with extreme technical know-how to aide in the recovery.

As for the location of the discovery, it remains under wraps, as the recovery process is ongoing.
