In a shocking turn of events, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is investigating a homicide after a decomposed body was found in the trunk of singer D4vd's impounded Tesla. The body has been identified as Celeste Rivas Hernandez, a missing 15-year-old girl who went missing from Lake Elsinore in Riverside County, California, in April of last year.
The Riverside County Sheriff's Office confirmed that Hernandez is the juvenile who was reported missing. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner made the identification, and the cause and time of Hernandez's death are yet to be determined.
D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, is currently on tour and is cooperating with the authorities regarding the discovery of the body in his Los Angeles Tesla. His publicist has issued a statement confirming his cooperation.
A tattoo reading 'Shhh' was found on the right index finger of the deceased, which matches a tattoo on D4vd's right index finger. However, authorities have not released any information about the person currently being questioned in connection with the case.
In the wake of this incident, Crocs and Hollister have dropped D4vd from their latest marketing campaigns. All promotional images of the singer have been removed from their websites and social media pages.
