Remains of a teenager discovered in an abandoned Tesla car owned by D4vd could be connected to a missing persons investigation
In a shocking turn of events, a 15-year-old girl named Celeste Rivas was found deceased in an impounded Tesla. The car, registered to 20-year-old singer David Anthony Burke, known as D4vd, was abandoned on a public street and had been at the tow yard for two days before investigation.
Celeste Rivas was found by authorities on Sept. 8 near Mansfield Avenue and Romaine Street in Hollywood. She was described as having wavy black hair, standing at 5 feet 2 inches tall, and weighing 71 pounds. The exact cause of her death was listed as 'deferred' and the body was found inside a bag placed in the front trunk of the Tesla.
The investigation into Celeste Rivas's death is ongoing, and it is unclear if D4vd has commented on the matter on his social media posts. So far, D4vd and his team have not released any comment on the investigation.
D4vd, known for his indie, R&B, and alt-pop sound, first gained viral popularity on TikTok and has more than 33 million monthly listeners on Spotify. He released his debut album in April and is known for the songs 'Here with Me' and 'Romantic Homicide.'
Last week, investigators planned to speak with D4vd, the registered owner of the Tesla. However, the exact timeline of D4vd's involvement in the investigation is not specified.
