Tuesday saw a hit in the Thiele Allotment Community Association when a fire broke out in a shed on one of the plots. The individual present at the scene at the time of the incident remains unknown, according to police reports. Investigators from the Public Prosecutor's Office in Braunschweig have taken over the case.
The shed, where the fire began, was home to a few small garden plants along its entrance. Despite the tragedy, some of these resilient plants managed to survive the ordeal.
