Breaking the one-year wait, Halle FC finally nabs Vin Kastull for the Saale. Anticipated to shore up the defense, the 20-year-old can seek guidance from his old man.
Halle FC has added its fourth new player to the ranks. native Stendalite Vin Kastull joins the HFC, having signed with Bayern-Regionalliga side Greuther Fürth II earlier. Inked to a two-year deal with an optional third year, Vin Kastull is a right-footed central defender who promises to solidify HFC's lineup.
HFC's sports director Daniel Meyer reveals, "We would have nabbed Vin earlier, but we were a bit tardy. His skills are polished, but we were drawn to his physique and aggressive play."

Before joining Halle FC, Kastull had a two-year stint with Chemie, making 27 appearances under former coach Miroslav Jagatic. Following that, he moved to Greuther Fürth II. Now, he is poised to provide defensive stability to the HFC. Similarly to the previous season, Halle continues to sign players with local ties or regional connections.
Father-Son Duo in the Regionalliga
Kastull fits both criteria. His dad, Sven Körner, previously played for HFC and will be an assistant coach for BFC Dynamo next season. The family hails from the Altmark, and Vin previously played for Lok Stendal before joining VfL Wolfsburg's youth academy at 12. As the youngest player in VfL Wolfsburg's U19 team in the Youth League, Kastull dreamed of a prestigious professional career. "It was strange for me, treated like a young pro at airports and requested autographs, even in Sevilla. But yes, I'd relish more of such experiences, serving as motivation for me," the then 17-year-old stated in an interview with az-online.
At the HFC, he aims to continue his development in the tough Regionalliga Nordost. The 6-foot-3 defender joins the recently signed Julien Damelang, Felix Langhammer, and Fatlum Elezi in the squad.
