Title: Blasting Through the Mullah Regime: Iran's War with Israel

Byline: Nils Thomas Hinsberger

Tehran – The Mullah regime in Iran is sweating bullets in the war against Israel. Expert opinions suggest a military defeat against the Jewish nation could send the power of the government spiraling down, led by Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Or Yissachar, former military intel officer, went as far as to say the regime's in a panic.

War on the Eastern Front: Iran Faces Panic

Israel's Defense Forces (IDF) regularly boast of their victories in the war against Iran, claiming air superiority up to Tehran's capital. A recent IDF statement read: "We've given the Iranian regime a solid kicking, pushing it back to central Iran."

Their successes could spell the end for the regime, as Iranian regime critic Nasrin Sotudeh noted. "A regime collapse is now more likely. The leadership has lost much ground, and it currently looks completely powerless," she told Welt. Sotudeh also believes the population in Iran rejects the current system of government and that Israel's military victories could fuel further instability. Yet, she warns that an uprising carries its own risks. "If a coup fails and the regime manages to stabilize, every act of resistance could lead to worse consequences than other times," she cautions.

Yissachar shares the same fear. "A dictatorial regime is obsessed with its own stability, and this fear is growing that the population in Iran could rise up against the government," he explains to Bild.

Iran Torn Apart: Stress Symptoms Reveal Regime Cracks

The tension within the Iranian leadership is also evident in "stress symptoms," as the Iran expert points out. The regime's rhetoric is growing more hardline, and claims of success against Israel are becoming increasingly frequent — usually backed up by KI-generated images that "prove" their victories. "This is a clear sign of increasing tension within the Iranian power apparatus," Yissachar says.

Bomb drops in the Middle East: US Military Involvement Looming

The escalating tensions between Israel and Iran have U.S. involvement looming. Trump took to his online platform Truth Social on June 17, stating, "We know exactly where the so-called 'Supreme Leader' is hiding. He's out of reach, but he's not safe. We're not going to kill him (yet), but we're losing patience." Trump warned, "Our patience is running out."

In Iran, Trump's threats seem to be taken seriously. Chamenei spoke out against any U.S. intervention, warning that it would cause "irreparable damage." The regime also dismissed Trump's demand for surrender, insisting, "The Iranian people are determined and will resist both an imposed war and an imposed peace." (nhi)
