REWAG Nights 2025: A Sustainable, Musical Celebration in Regensburg

Get ready for a unique two-day event as the REWAG Nights 2025 take over Regensburg's scenic surroundings on August 1 and 2. Organised by REWAG, Kunstforum Ostdeutsche Galerie, and WR Events, this year's edition promises an exciting lineup of performances, sustainable initiatives, and engaging activities.

The musical lineup includes Feathers'n'Fray, Elvira Trimis + Band, Hanba!, Groovedepartment, Babbutzi Orkestar, Gewuetztraminer, and a special REWAG Classics program featuring Maria Gruber, High5ive, Tritonus Brass, Cosima Federle and Marie Sophie Hauzel, Nurnberg Baroque, and Opus Classical participant Florian Christl.

Sustainability and regionality are at the heart of the event's planning, with artist selection and promotional materials reflecting these values. Visitors are encouraged to contribute to the event's eco-friendly ethos by coming to the festival by bus, bike, or on foot. A bike rack will be available on the grounds, and the Pindl Gymnasium offers bike storage.

Younger guests will find plenty to keep them entertained at the creative station on Friday and Saturday. The art tent will feature the theme of the city of Breslau and its famous gnome figures.

A unique feature of the event is the opportunity to generate electricity while dancing. Dr. Robert Greb mentions a REWAG stand on the Energy Floor where visitors can virtually generate electricity. The electricity generated will be multiplied by the regional green electricity tariff price and donated to a social organization.

The bar at the Chinese Tower will be open for relaxation away from the bustle, and visitors can enjoy free drinking water at two locations – the kindergarten and park entrance at the Kunstforum – and three large drink stations at the stages and a small bar directly at the lake.

Stages, power supply, and catering tents have been set up for the event. Retex, a social initiative, will cater during the setup and for the artists, promoting social sustainability.

A highlight will be the "light palms" that will illuminate the new fountain. The Kunstforum Ostdeutsche Galerie will showcase the permanent exhibition and the exhibition "Bernhard Heisig and Breslau" on both evenings.

In addition, Sandra Wimmer, a member of the REWAG board, has announced a selfie point, comfortable sun loungers, and a new customer offer at the REWAG stand. Tables and chairs will be set up throughout the park in the coming days.

For the most current and detailed announcements, we recommend checking the official REWAG Nights website or their official social media channels. We can't wait to see you there!

At the REWAG Nights 2025, attendees can look forward to a diverse musical lineup that includes Feathers'n'Fray, Elvira Trimis + Band, Hanba!, Groovedepartment, Babbutzi Orkestar, Gewuetztraminer, and a special REWAG Classics program.

Other forms of entertainment can be found at the creative station for younger guests on Friday and Saturday, and at the bar located at the Chinese Tower for relaxation away from the bustle.
