Regensburg's Johanniter Team Places Ninth in National Competition

Regensburg's Johanniter teams, backed by over 50 supporters, placed ninth in the federal event in Erfurt. The teams, which specialize in first aid and emergency rescue, had previously won the state event in Bavaria. Regional board member Tobias Karl deemed the event a positive experience for the young teams.

The Johanniter teams competed against 49 other winning teams from across Germany in Erfurt. The event was part of the nationwide Johanniter day, which attracted around 3,000 participants. Andreas Froehlich, the local branch's representative, hoped for a better performance but commended the teams' enthusiasm. President of Johanniter Unfallhilfe, Volker Bescht, praised the teams' spirit and fair cooperation during the event. Thuringia's Minister President Mario Voigt also acknowledged the Johanniter's commitment to society.

Regensburg's Johanniter teams' ninth place finish in the federal event in Erfurt is a testament to their skills and dedication. With the support of over 50 fans and the praise from officials, the teams look forward to future events.
