Regensburg's Classic Concert in the Park and Rewag Night's Blue Event
Get ready for an unforgettable summer experience as the REWAG Nights 2025 is set to take place on August 1st and 2nd in Breslau. This two-day event promises a fantastic lineup of entertainment, a strong focus on sustainability, and a variety of activities for all ages.
Visitors are encouraged to arrive by bus, bike, or on foot, with a bike rack available on the grounds and the Pindl Gymnasium offering bike storage. The city's famous gnome figures will be the theme of the creativity station in the art tent, making it an exciting spot for young visitors on Friday and Saturday.
Sustainability and regionality play a significant role in the planning process, from artist selection to promotional materials. REWAG Nights have been paying particular attention to environmental and species protection for many years, working closely with the garden department and an environmental construction supervisor to implement and improve measures to protect the park and its animals.
The artistic program for the REWAG Nights 2025 is diverse. On Friday, expect a classical program, but the details of the performers cannot be determined at this time. On Saturday, the Night in Blue program will feature Regensburg bands Feathers'n'Fray and Elvira Trimis + Band, as well as international acts like Babbutzi Orkestar from Milan and the Gewuetztraminer from Vienna. However, the specific artists for the classical program on Friday and the Night in Blue program on Saturday remain undisclosed.
Dancing at the REWAG Nights 2025 will generate electricity, which will be multiplied by the price for REWAG's regional green electricity tariff and donated to a social organization. The bar at the Chinese Tower, which was awakened from its Sleeping Beauty slumber last year, invites visitors to relax away from the hustle and bustle.
The Kunstforum Ostdeutsche Galerie will offer free guided tours on both evenings, showcasing the permanent exhibition and the exhibition "Bernhard Heisig and Breslau". The "light palms" will illuminate the new fountain, creating a highlight.
In addition, the REWAG stand on the Energy Floor will offer an opportunity to virtually generate electricity through dancing. Retex, a social initiative, supports REWAG with catering during the setup and for the artists, contributing to social sustainability. Power supply, stages, and catering tents have been set up for the event.
Free drinking water will be available at the REWAG Nights 2025. Two free drinking water offers are available at the kindergarten and the park entrance at the Kunstforum, two large drink stations at the stages, and a small bar directly at the lake. Sandra Wimmer, a member of the REWAG board, adds that there's a selfie point, comfortable sun loungers, and an offer for new customers at the REWAG stand.
Join us at the REWAG Nights 2025 for a unique blend of entertainment, sustainability, and community spirit. We look forward to seeing you there!
At the REWAG Nights 2025, besides the exciting classical program on Friday, attendees can anticipate the Night in Blue on Saturday featuring local bands like Feathers'n'Fray and Elvira Trimis + Band, as well as international acts, resulting in an eclectic mix of entertainment just like other music events. Additionally, visitors are invited to create their own gnome figures at the creativity station on Friday and Saturday, adding another layer of entertainment to the sustainability-focused event.
