Abor & Tynna: Germany's Eurovision Hopefuls on the Rise
Highly Demanded Electronic Dance Music (EDM) Performers in Variety Shows (ESC) - Refined Entertainers Emerging as Highly Demanded Electronic Dance Music Performers
Next week, the Eurovision Song Contest arrives! This year, German siblings Attila (26) and Tünde Bornemisza (24), known as Abor & Tynna, will represent their home country in Basel with their track "Baller." While it's hard to predict their success, their song is generating buzz in Google searches compared to other contenders.
Silver Medalist!
Google, the all-powerful search engine, crunched the numbers on Eurovision entries this year, examining search queries across all participating countries over the last month. With around 13 percent of queries, "Baller" nabs the silver medal, narrowly missing the top spot held by Spanish singer Melody (34) and her tune "Esa divia" with 14 percent. France and Sweden share the bronze position, with Louane (28) in third place with "Maman," and KAJ following suit with "Bara bada bastu," both at 12 percent. The United Kingdom rounds out the top five with Remember Monday's "What The Hell Just Happened?" at 11 percent.
Other popular entries in the top ten include Claude (21, Netherlands) with "C'est La Vie," JJ (24, Austria) with "Wasted Love," Lucio Corsi (31, Italy) with "Volevo essere un duro," Zoë Meü (24, Switzerland) with "Voyage," and Ziferblat from Ukraine with "Bird Of Pray."
Searching for Success in Germany
In Germany, "Baller" has sparked significant interest, with five other contest entries being searched for more frequently, not including the duo themselves. Leading the pack, in order of popularity, are: "Bird of Pray," "Bara bada bastu," "Wasted Love," "Voyage," and "Esa diva."
Interestingly, "Baller" has seen a strong response in Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and Denmark over the past month.
