Reebok Unveils Angel Reese's Signature Shoe: The Angel Reese 1

Reebok has officially launched the Angel Reese 1, the signature shoe of the WNBA star, on Thursday. The release of the shoe was highly anticipated, and it did not disappoint, selling out within hours on Reebok's website.

The Angel Reese 1 is designed with stability and a lightweight, breathable construction, making it perfect for Reese's dynamic playstyle on the court. It takes inspiration from Reebok's Mobius line, known for its innovative design and performance.

The shoe features Reebok's Energy Return System technology, which includes a lightweight EVA midsole and nitrogen-infused SuperFloat foam in the heel and forefoot. This technology is designed to provide optimal energy return and cushioning, enhancing Reese's explosive moves and quick stops.

Angel Reese expressed her gratitude for the support received and her excitement for the release of her signature shoe. In an interview with Elle, she expressed her desire to wear her signature shoe while playing and striving for great things.

Due to Reese's momentum on and off the court, the release of the Angel Reese 1 was moved up to Year 2 (2024). The next release of the shoe is expected in October 2025.

Reese signed with Reebok in 2023, and her first collection was released last year. The first drop of the Angel Reese 1s is priced at $120. Three colorways of the shoe were released: Diamond Dust, Mebounds, and Receipts Ready. All three colorways sold out.

In other news, Shaquille O'Neal became the president of basketball for Reebok, and Allen Iverson took the vice president role for Reebok basketball. Reese, who became the fastest player to reach 500 points and 500 rebounds in WNBA history, also became the fastest to reach 40 double-doubles in the league.

Reese's achievements extend beyond the basketball court. She appeared on the cover of Vogue and the cover of the NBA 2K26 WNBA edition. With her signature shoe now available, fans can support Reese as she continues to break records and push the boundaries of women's basketball.
