Red Hot Chili Peppers Rank in Top 10 of German (Cup) Championship
Heads Up! The Red Hot Chilis Crushed It at the German Cheerleading Champs
Hear ye, hear ye! The Red Hot Chilis, a squad hailing from TSV Gaimersheim's gymnastics division, slayed it at the German Cup-Championship for Cheerleading late in March.
A whopping 170 teams from nearly 90 clubs took up the challenge, assembling from all across Germany for the final showdown of the CCVD Championships in the 24/25 season.
Despite the fierce competition, Team Smoke held their ground admirably, scoring 8th place in the "Youth Intermediate Level 2" with 7.27 points. Embers made heads turn by securing 5th place in the "Youth Allgirl Median Level 3" with a stunning 7.39 points – a remarkable feat, considering one of their teammates got injured during warm-ups but still managed to perform like a boss! The team with the most experience, Glow in the "Senior Allgirl Level 4," wasn't far behind, taking home 5th place with 6.68 points.
Coach Lucia Reichert of Team Smoke shared their victory shoutout: "We're beyond pumped that our girls placed in the top 10 at the German Cup-Championships – originally only 78 teams in their level made it to the state championships."
