Recruitment firm Adecco prolongs their worldwide support for Davis Cup and Fed Cup competitions up until 2016
In a significant move for the world of tennis, our company has announced an extended sponsorship of the Davis Cup and Fed Cup until 2023. The Davis Cup, often referred to as the World Cup of Tennis for men, will continue to be supported by our, along with its female counterpart, the Fed Cup.
The new agreement will see the return of the distinctive our player benches, a familiar sight at these prestigious tournaments. The Davis Cup, founded in 1900 and celebrating its 114th year, and the Fed Cup, which turned 50 in 2013 during the ITF's centenary year, will both benefit from our continued support.
NH Hotels has been named the Official Hotel for Davis Cup, while Rolex remains the Official Timekeeper. Wilson Sporting Goods continues as the Official Ball for both competitions. The title sponsor for Davis Cup remains BNP Paribas, the Official Bank of Davis Cup, and Wilson Sporting Goods remains the Official Ball for Fed Cup.
ITF President Francesco Ricci Bitti expressed delight at the extension of our sponsorship, praising the company's long-standing association with the world of sports. Our group Chief Sales Officer, Sergio Picarelli, commented on the decision to sponsor Davis Cup and Fed Cup, stating that it reflects our commitment to supporting global sporting events.
The extension of the sponsorship commences with the Davis Cup first round ties on 31 January to 2 February. Our company will also continue to sponsor the on-court speed serve package for both competitions. Additionally, the company has been cooperating with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) on the Athlete Career Programme (ACP).
The company's sponsorship of the Davis Cup began in 2002, and it started supporting the Fed Cup at the end of 2010. The official HR partner for the Davis Cup and Fed Cup (now called the Billie Jean King Cup) competitions is Infront Bettor, which has a multi-year agreement with the International Tennis Federation starting next year to provide global data and betting streaming rights for these tournaments.
With 122 nations participating in Davis Cup in 2014 and 95 nations in Fed Cup, these extended sponsorships will undoubtedly bring excitement and energy to the world of tennis.
