Record Proposals at II Youth Legislative Congress Aim to Transform Society

The II Youth Legislative Congress has concluded with a record-breaking number of proposals. Participants, known as youth delegates, have put forward a range of ideas aimed at improving various aspects of society, from ecology and social issues to safety measures.

The Youth Parliament will now work on developing these proposals throughout the year, alongside deputies and the Assembly's apparatus. Notably, the congress saw a doubling of the number of legislative initiatives compared to previous events.

Among the proposals were suggestions to regulate DIY piercings for teens and reclassify pit bikes as motorcycles to reduce accidents involving young riders. The youth delegates also proposed creating rent subsidies for student families and prioritizing kindergartens, clinics, and schools over residential buildings in urban planning.

The Youth Legislative Congress has demonstrated the potential of youth involvement in policy-making. With a record number of proposals and a dedicated year-long work plan, these young participants are poised to make a significant impact on various aspects of society.
