Record-Breaking Performance in Pro Panja League Season 2: Satnam Singh of Kiraak Hyderabad Swiftly Surpasses Mazahir Saidu's Previous Best Time of 0.13 Seconds in the Pin Challenge
The Pro Panja League Season 2 is reaching its climax, with the semi-finals set to take place on August 20th at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Training Centre for Disability Sports. Four teams have qualified for this stage – Kiraak Hyderabad, Jaipur Veers, Rohtak Rowdies, and MP Hathodas.
In the first fixture of the semi-finals, Kiraak Hyderabad will face Jaipur Veers. This match promises to be an intense battle, as Ajay Chaudhary of Kiraak Hyderabad recently won 5-0 against Shoukath VT of Jaipur Veers in the main card, adding to Kiraak Hyderabad's strong performance. In the same fixture, Yogesh Chaudhary of Jaipur Veers won 2-0 in the 65kg+ participation bout.
Meanwhile, in the other semi-final, MP Hathodas will take on an opponent yet to be determined. Olivia Dkhar of MP Hathodas has already shown her prowess, winning 2-0 in the 65kg women's participation in the undercard fixture against Sher e Ludhiana. Manish Kumar of MP Hathodas also won 2-0 in the specially-abled category in the same fixture.
Satnam Singh, affectionately known as Badshaho ka Badshaho, has been a standout performer in this season. He set a new record with a stunning 0.12-second Challenger pin in the 70kg category, securing a historic 10-0 victory. In the same fixture, he also achieved a 10-0 victory over Akash Kumar of Jaipur Veers, setting another record with a Challenger pin in Round 1.
International audiences can watch the Pro Panja League Season 2 live on Sony Sports 3, DD Sports, and the FanCode App. For those in the US, the league can also be watched on Triller. The Grand Finale will take place on August 21st, following the semi-finals.
