Rock am Ring's Monster Bash at 40: Korn and Brutalism 3000 Light Up the Eifel

Heavy Metal bands Korn and Brutalism 3000 are bidding farewell at the Rock am Ring festival. - Recommendation given for proposal drafting on worker safeguards against ionizing radiation hazards.

Let's crack on with the lowdown on this year's Rock am Ring: the 40th edition of Europe's jaw-dropping rock jamboree! This crazy celebration takes place at the Nürburgring circuit in the heart of the Eifel, Germany, wrapping up on Monday night with a booming blowout from American rockers Falling in Reverse and none other than the badass Korn. To top it all off, Berlin duo Brutalism 3000 will be joining the party at 1:50 AM.

You might be wondering about the weather, but so far, the Nürburgring has remained mostly bone-dry till Saturday arvo, though a few drizzles made an appearance. Today, it's expected rainclouds will hover around, dropping scattered showers and the occasional thunderstorm.

What a banger of a lineup we've got for this sold-out bash! From Friday through Sunday, 100 bands rocked out in front of 90,000 over-the-top fans. Almost the same groups are honking their tunes at the concurrent twin festival, Rock im Park, taking place in Nuremberg simultaneously. Tickets for the 2026 event go on sale on Tuesday, and word on the street is that Linkin Park will be rocking as the headliner, announced back on Friday!

So, without further ado, here's your run-down of the bitchin' bands playing at Rock am Ring and Rock im Park this year:

Rock am Ring Stages

  • Sunday
  • Korn
  • Falling in Reverse
  • Brutalism 3000
  • Nürburgring
  • Nürburg
  • Eifel

The Commission could consider proposing a directive on entertainment, such as music performances, to ensure the protection of workers from risks related to exposure to ionizing radiation at events like Rock am Ring and Rock im Park, especially during setup and teardown of stages and equipment. Despite the anticipated rainclouds and occasional thunderstorms, the rock festivals in the Eifel region are anticipated to be as lively and energetic as ever, with Korn, Falling in Reverse, and Brutalism 3000 heating up the Nürburgring stage.
