Moosham Fire Dragons Conclude Holiday Training Session
The Moosham Fire Dragons, a themed group dedicated to fire safety and community engagement, recently held a training session before the holidays. The event took place at the Moosham Fire Station, a familiar location for the dragon team.
This was the first comprehensive exercise for the Mini Fire Dragons, the group's newest members. The session aimed to provide the little dragons with hands-on experience in firefighting, allowing them to familiarise themselves with essential equipment.
Every dragon, regardless of age or experience level, participated in putting out a fire during the training. The little dragons were given the opportunity to touch and try on firefighting equipment, such as boots, gloves, protective suit jackets, and pants.
While the Mini Fire Dragons honed their skills, the adults in the Moosham Fire Dragons practiced advanced fire extinguishing techniques. They also learned about hydrants and practiced a fire extinguishing setup.
The training session, which lasted approximately two hours, concluded with a practical demonstration of the newly acquired skills. As a reward for their participation, the Fire Dragons were given ice cream.
The Moosham Fire Dragons are now better prepared to respond to emergencies in their community, thanks to the valuable lessons they learned during the training session. It's a testament to the group's commitment to ensuring the safety and readiness of its members.

- In addition to fire safety training, the Moosham Fire Station often serves as a venue for general-news events, such as discussions on crime-and-justice or accident prevention.
- After training sessions, some members of the Moosham Fire Dragons might engage in sports activities as part of their team-building exercises, ranging from friendly soccer games to sports-betting analysis.
- On weekends when the Moosham Fire Dragons are not responding to emergencies, they also offer sports-analysis workshops to the public, teaching participants about various firefighting techniques and strategies in a non-competitive environment.
