Rebulk Uses AI to Revolutionize Bulk Inventory Tracking in Logistics
A Kansas City-based startup called Rebulk is looking to transform how businesses track bulk inventory. The company, formerly known as dScribe AI, has rebranded and is now using AI-powered computer vision to monitor materials in real time. Its founders believe this overlooked area of logistics is ready for innovation.
Rebulk was launched in 2024 by a team including Warren Wang, who emigrated from Indonesia in 2016. After gaining U.S. citizenship, he adopted his full legal name, having previously been listed as 'No Name Given Warren'. Wang and his co-founders now aim to improve supply chain visibility through their technology.
The rebrand from dScribe AI to Rebulk was announced on LinkedIn, with the new name suggested by Kenneth Bautista, the startup's chief of staff. The company has already tested its system in a pilot with Cargill and is preparing a case study with Charm Industrial. Rebulk's progress has earned it a place in the Y Combinator accelerator programme. It has also secured support from the LaunchKC funding cohort, along with backing from local and regional venture capital firms.
The startup's AI-driven approach promises better control over bulk materials in warehouses and logistics operations. With pilot projects underway and investor support secured, Rebulk is positioning itself as a key player in modernising inventory tracking. The team plans to share detailed results from its collaborations in the coming months.
