Reality TV star Kristin Cavallari discloses dramatic motivation for contemplating abandonment of her series within the initial three days.

Kristin Cavallari nearly abandoned her new reality show just three days into filming, despite calling it her favorite production experience, according to the reality star. Cavallari's forthcoming series, Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour, is scheduled for release in a few weeks, but the project almost ended prematurely due to creative differences with the production team, Cavallari revealed in a recent interview.

The 38-year-old television personality disclosed that she clashed with producers who were eager to stage some scenes, a suggestion she strongly opposed. Cavallari explained her departure threat, saying, "I actually tried to quit the show three days into production because the producers were eager to control the narrative of my podcast tour, and I felt it was taking a direction away from its intended authenticity."

Speaking with People, Cavallari shared that the standoff allowed both parties to realize she was not willing to compromise on the show's honesty. "I think that it was good because it made everyone understand that I'm not going to do the show unless it's real. I don't want to come in and have you guys tell us what conversations to have."

Despite the initial friction, Cavallari emphasized that she was able to maintain authenticity throughout the filming process. "It was real," she added to the publication. "It was the most real show I've ever done, and that was a really enjoyable experience."

Set to air on June 5, Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour will stream on Peacock. Cavallari previously starred in her reality show Very Cavallari, which aired on E! between 2018 and 2020, chronicling her life at home in Nashville, Tennessee, as she launched her jewelry line's flagship store, Uncommon James.

Cavallari's new series will follow her as she takes her Let's Be Honest podcast on tour, featuring celebrity friends, Bravolebrities, memorable exes, and other notable figures from her life. A teaser clip, released earlier this year, showcased Cavallari's interaction with Harry Jowsey, who sent her a provocative image during one of her podcast recordings.

Before its premiere, fans can anticipate an honest portrayal of Cavallari's personal life, including a recent revelation about her drunken encounter with Brandon Sklenar after microdosing mushrooms on her podcast. Speaking candidly on the show, she shared that she "freaked out" upon meeting the actor at the Stagecoach music festival and "attacked" him with enthusiasm.
