"You're arguing all day long" - Reality TV Star Dennis Lodi Reveals Backup Plan and Industry Struggles
Dennis Lodi, 30, a familiar face from reality TV shows like 'Make Love, Fake Love' and 'The 50', is currently appearing in 'Summer House of the Stars'. Despite his successful TV career, Lodi has opened up about his backup plan and the challenges he faces in the industry.
Lodi, who previously worked as a painter and managed a friend's pizzeria, revealed in 'Reality Check' that if his reality TV career hadn't taken off, he would have turned to the job center and lived on welfare with a 600-euro rent. However, his career has flourished, with appearances in multiple reality shows and a supportive girlfriend, Tara Tabitha, by his side.
Lodi praises Tabitha, 32, for her kindness, intelligence, and unwavering support. The couple lives together in Vienna, with Tabitha taking on 98% of the household tasks. Despite the support, Lodi finds the constant traveling and numerous appointments in the reality TV industry stressful. He has no interest in becoming an influencer, unlike many of his colleagues, including Tabitha who has over 196,000 Instagram followers.
Lodi described his time in 'Summer House of the Stars' as tough, with constant arguments among the participants. Despite the challenges, he and Tabitha plan to emigrate together, preferring a location with sun, beach, and sea, such as Portugal or Spain.
Lodi and Tabitha's future plans include emigrating together, seeking a change of pace from their current reality TV lifestyle. Their decision comes after Lodi's experiences in 'Summer House of the Stars' and his reflections on his career and personal life.
