Real Madrid's Troubles with Jude Bellingham's Shoulder Injury

Bellingham, the British sensation, has been Real Madrid's secret weapon this season, ranking second in the league for the Whites and already scoring 13 times in 14 competitive matches with three assists. He even netted a brace in the 2:1 victory against Barcelona in the Clásico. However, the Spaniards might have to play without the ex-BVB star after he sustained an injury to his shoulder during the goalless draw against Rayo Vallecano.

Despite the fall and apparent discomfort, Bellingham chose to finish the match. After the final whistle, the injured shoulder was wrapped. Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti (64) expressed hope for Bellingham's recovery, stating he would undergo medical examination the following day to determine his availability for the Champions League match against Sporting Braga on Wednesday at 9 pm.

Bellingham's contribution to Real Madrid's goals significantly outpaces that of any other player in the club's history, accounting for 44.8% of all the team's goals this season. Even the legendary Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored 38% during his time with the team, cannot match this achievement.

Ancelotti acknowledged the team's untapped potential in goal-scoring, highlighting Valverde, Vinicius, Joselu, and Rodrygo as alternative sources of goals. With Bellingham on the field, Real Madrid currently boasts a remarkably higher scoring chance, nearly doubling their chances without him.

If Bellingham's absence proves prolonged, Real Madrid has a wealth of talents prepared to step up. Individuals like Karim Benzema, Vinícius Júnior, Rodrygo Goes, Luka Modrić, and Brahim Diaz show the depth of skills and potential available within the team.

For instance, Benzema has proven himself as a consistent goal-scorer in high-pressure matches, netting the fastest goal in El Clásico history in just 21 seconds. Vinícius Júnior, recognized for his blinding speed and skill, scored the fastest goal by a substitute in Real Madrid's history in just 14 seconds against Shakhtar Donetsk.

Rodrygo has showcased his potential as a goal-scorer and has the ability to make an impact in crucial matches, while Modrić's vision and passing ability might contribute to the team's goal-scoring efforts through his assists and set pieces. Diaz has proven his finishing skills from midfield during matches, such as the equalizer against Manchester City.

Real Madrid's fanbase may breathe a sigh of relief, knowing they have a robust backup plan ready to step in if Bellingham's injury proves serious. Regardless of who dons the shirt, they can rely on the resilience and skill of their team to carry them forward.
