Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are reportedly set to engage in negotiations over the transfer of star forward Kylian Mbappé, according to various sources.

Recent speculation suggests that Paris Saint-Germain may have decided against 'parking' Mbappé in their B team to avoid financial losses, indicating a potential move to Real Madrid could be on the horizon.

The news comes after Mbappé refused to negotiate with the Saudi Arabian club 'Al Hilal', and it is said that he is willing to waive the remaining payments from his agreement with Paris Saint-Germain to facilitate the transfer to Real Madrid.

Reports also suggest that Paris Saint-Germain has agreed to let Mbappé join Real Madrid this summer, with a reported price tag of €230 million. Interestingly, this fee includes a €40 million 'loyalty bonus' for the player.

It is worth noting that there is no publicly known special envoy mediating negotiations between the two clubs at this time. However, it is expected that a special intermediary will be hired to communicate Real Madrid's price for Mbappé.

The absence of Mbappé from Paris Saint-Germain's Japanese tour further fuels the transfer rumours.

Ramon Alvarez De Mon of the Marca outlet was the first to report this news, adding that 'Al Hilal' had offered Paris Saint-Germain €300 million in compensation for Mbappé and €700 million in salary for one season.

As the saga unfolds, it remains to be seen whether Paris Saint-Germain will hold firm on their €230 million asking price or if Real Madrid will up their offer. One thing is certain: the football world eagerly awaits the outcome of these negotiations.
