"Reactions of 'The Summer I Turned Pretty' Cast to the Final Scene"

In the heart of Paris, the cast of the popular series "The Summer I Turned Pretty" gathered for a screening of the show's finale. The emotional reunion scene between Belly (played by Lola Tung) and Conrad (Chris Hemsworth) was shown for the first time on the big screen.

During the intimate scene, Sean Kaufman, stepping into the shoes of Stephen, joked about the reaction of the cast. Meanwhile, Lola Tung revealed she left the room during the scene and returned to see the audience's reactions in real-time. Chris Hemsworth, however, remained unfazed, stating it was "another day at work."

Behind the camera, Lola Tung and Chris Hemsworth discussed the technical aspects of filming the scene, focusing on hitting marks and not blocking light. Gavin Casalegno, who plays Jeremiah, covered his eyes during the scene, admitting to peeking a few times.

The filming for the continuation of the series took place in Paris and New York, as indicated by scenes involving Belly's new chapter in Paris and a train trip to New York in the storyline. Fans can currently stream all episodes of The Summer I Turned Pretty on Prime Video.

Author Jenny Han revealed a feature film is in the works to continue Belly's story. She mentioned a significant milestone left in Belly's journey that she believes can only be properly addressed in a movie. The chemistry between Lola Tung and Chris Hemsworth was undeniable in the reunion scene.

Jenny Han chose Taylor Swift's Dress as the soundtrack for the pivotal scene, not because it inspired the scene, but because she knew it was what she wanted for it. The reunion scene was soundtracked by Dress, adding an extra layer of emotion to the heartfelt moment.

According to a press release, the feature film's release date is yet to be determined. The screening in Paris was not without its humorous moments. Jackie Chung, who plays Laurel Park, shared a laugh with Lola Tung's real mother during the event.

As the series and its feature film continue to captivate audiences, fans eagerly await the next chapter in Belly's journey.
