Knee Issue: Setback for Young National Player Ouedraogo - RB Leipzig loses two stars as Ouédraogo and Diomandé face injuries
RB Leipzig has suffered a double injury blow with two key players sidelined. Assan Ouédraogo, 19, has picked up a serious tendon injury, while Yan Diomandé is recovering from a broken nose. Both will miss upcoming matches as the club adjusts its plans.
Ouédraogo’s setback came after he damaged a tendon in the back of his left knee. The young midfielder will now face a long spell on the sidelines, leaving RB Leipzig without his services for an extended period.
The injuries leave Leipzig with gaps in midfield and attack. Diomandé’s masked return may ease some pressure, but Ouédraogo’s long-term absence poses a bigger challenge. The club must now adapt without two of its first-team options.
