Rare northern lights over Switzerland win Video of the Week honors

Swiss skies put on a dazzling show this week as the northern lights made a rare appearance, captured perfectly by Lukas Wyss. His video has been named SRF Meteo's Video of the Week.

Lukas Wyss's stunning footage showcased the aurora borealis dancing over Gerzensee. The lake mist added to the spectacle, creating a breathtaking scene. Wyss's video has earned him the prestigious title of Weather Video of the Week.

The SRF Meteo team was impressed by the quality and timing of the video. They encourage everyone to submit their weather videos for a chance to be featured. However, there's no specific information yet on when to submit for the next week's competition.
