In just 59 minutes, Sinner defeated Daniel Elahi Galan, who had come through qualifying for the tournament, with a score of 6-1, 6-1. This victory marked Sinner's fastest match so far this season and a ruthless start to his title defense after winning Wimbledon the previous month[1][5].
