In a surprising turn of events, Sean "Diddy" Combs' ex-girlfriend, Virginia Huynh, has come forward in support of the hip-hop mogul. Combs is currently incarcerated, awaiting sentencing after being found guilty of promoting prostitution-related offenses in early July [1].

Huynh, who was previously listed as "Victim Number 3" in the indictment, has provided statements to Combs' legal team. She asserts that Combs has been cooperative and respectful throughout the investigation and trial. Huynh believes that Combs is not a danger to her or the community [2].

In a letter to the judge, Huynh states that Sean "Diddy" Combs has not been violent towards her for many years. She also mentions that Combs has made visible efforts to become a better person in the following years and has primarily focused on being a father to his children [3].

Combs' lawyers are trying to get him released on bail pending sentencing. A request was made to release Combs on a $50 million bail to house arrest. However, the court has yet to make a decision on this matter [4].

It's worth noting that the industry portal "Deadline" wrote that a full pardon of the rapper is being "seriously considered" by Donald Trump. Several people from Combs' circle have reportedly asked the White House for help [5].

Despite Huynh's support, the court denied the bail appeal, and Sean Combs remains incarcerated. Combs faces up to 20 years in prison, but the court will decide the length of the sentence at its discretion. The sentencing is scheduled for October 3 [6].
