In the Balingen Mey Generalbau Arena, HBW Balingen-Weilstetten and TuS N-Lübbecke faced off in a thrilling match of the 2nd Bundesliga handball league.

However, the tide turned when Sascha Pfattheicher scored into an empty net, followed by back-to-back goals from Tobias Heinzelmann and Pfattheicher again, putting TuS N-Lübbecke in a comfortable 4:2 lead (15th minute).

The match was not without its controversies. Georg Pöhlle of TuS N-Lübbecke was sent off for a face-off foul in the 41st minute, and Max Santos of HBW was shown a two-minute suspension. Despite these advantages, HBW failed to capitalise, with Mex Raguse missing a free shot for TuS N-Lübbecke, but Pfattheicher scoring after a steal, tying the game at 5:5 (15th minute).

The second half saw HBW's defense holding firm, preventing TuS N-Lübbecke from scoring for a significant period. Yonatan Dayan, Raguse, and Tim Grünert responded with the right answers, extending HBW's lead to 24:16 (52nd minute).
