Rankings for Sanremo 2025 Finale
In the grand final of the Italian Song Festival, the Big contest took centre stage, with a total of 29 contestants vying for the top spot. However, the night belonged to some, while others fell short of the coveted victory.
One of the most anticipated acts of the night was Brunori Sas, who did not place in the Big contest. Despite their strong performance, they were not amongst the winners.
The positions in the Big contest were determined, with Fedez, Simone Cristicchi, Giorgia, Achille Lauro, Francesco Gabbani, Irama, Coma_Cose, Bresh, Elodie, The Kolors, Rocco Hunt, Willie Peyote, Sarah Toscano, Shablo, Rose Villain, Joan Thiele, Francesca Michielin, Modà, Massimo Ranieri, Serena Brancale, Tony Effe, Gaia, Clara, Rkomi, and Marcella Bella all securing their spots.
However, the Big contest winners were not among the positions listed. Instead, the second place was achieved by Mahmood with his song "Soldi". A surprising twist came as Lucio Corsi, who did not place in the Big contest, finished in second place with his song Volevo essere un duro.
The night's biggest surprise, however, was Brunori Sas's third-place finish with the song L'albero delle noci. Despite not placing in the top spot, their performance was met with applause and admiration from the audience.
Interestingly, the Big contest winners from Sanremo 2023 were not present in this year's competition. It was not until Sanremo 2025 that Olly emerged victorious with the song Balorda nostalgia.
As the dust settles on this year's Sanremo Festival, fans eagerly await the next instalment of Italy's most prestigious music competition. With the excitement and anticipation building, it's clear that the Big contest will continue to be a highlight of the Italian music scene for years to come.
