Raising funds for children's dining ware spearheaded by prominent football figure, Ingo Brussolo, in Harburg.
Ingo Brussolo, a renowned figure in Harburg for his charitable work, has once again demonstrated his commitment to community welfare. This year, Brussolo donated a total of 5,200 euros, with a significant portion going to the DRK team in Neuwiedenthal.
Brussolo's generosity extends beyond his annual football tournament and action program, which serves as a significant fundraiser for local charities. The German Red Cross Hamburg-Harburg and the German Life Saving Association are among the beneficiaries of his fundraising efforts. These organisations rely on donations like Brussolo's to continue their vital work in providing emergency assistance, water rescue services, and community support in the Hamburg-Harburg area.
The donation of 4,050 euros to the DRK team in Neuwiedenthal this year is not Brussolo's first act of kindness towards the "Kinderteller." Last year, he donated a round sum to the same cause. The money donated by Brussolo goes directly to the children in Neuwiedenthal who receive a free hot meal at the "Kinderteller" on weekends.
The "Kinderteller" is financed by donations like Brussolo's, and it relies on the support of volunteers. Many volunteers are on hand on Saturday and Sunday to distribute the food, care for the children, and spend time with them at the "Kinderteller."
Brussolo's dedication to charitable causes is not limited to the "Kinderteller." This year, he also donated to the DLRG. The Sparkasse Hamburg-Harburg, too, supports Brussolo in his fundraising efforts, contributing 2,900 euros to this year's collection.
Over the years, Brussolo's charitable efforts have amassed more than 45,000 euros in donations. As a former footballer from Harburg, Brussolo's impact on the community extends far beyond the football field, making a meaningful contribution to fostering community safety and well-being.
