Let's Roll at the Jaksylyk Ushkempirov Palace of Sports!

Gear up for the grand opening of the seventh edition of the Republic of Kazakhstan's Paraspardakiada — an electrifying extravaganza for athletes with disabilities! This year, we've got a roster of exciting new sports in the lineup, including bocha, archery, paracycling, and women's goalball!

For those unfamiliar, the Paraspardakiada is a huge leap forward in developing sports for individuals with disabilities of the musculoskeletal system, vision, and intellectual development. With around 2000 athletes ready to shake things up, it's going to be an unforgettable spectacle!

Ruslan ESENALI, our very own Chairman of the Committee on Sports and Physical Culture of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, made the announcement during the ceremony. It's said that this year's program includes competitions in a staggering 17 sports categories!

The games will take place across several locations, with Astana hosting a packed schedule featuring sit-volleyball, parataekwondo, parajudo, bocha, paratanzem, and parakarate.

Keep your calendars marked, because the Paraspardakiada wraps up on June 30th! Results from the competition will be instrumental in forming the Kazakhstan national team, giving them a shot at starring in international tournaments.

So, get ready to cheer on your favorite athletes and witness history being made at the Paraspardakiada!
