Rainy System to Cool Twin Cities Tuesday
A cool and rainy system is set to arrive in the Twin Cities on Tuesday, bringing cooler temperatures and a chance of rain throughout the day. Monday will be gusty as the system approaches, while Sunday evening will see winds ease and skies clear, with lows dropping into the upper 30s to low 40s.
Sunday will start with mostly clear skies and highs reaching near 60 degrees. It will be breezy, particularly in southeast Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Local weather stations, such as the Minneapolis station using WeeWX software and the Saint Paul station on Weather Underground, have provided this forecast. Monday will be gusty as a new system approaches from the west.
Tuesday brings the best chance for rain, but it will not be a completely wet day. Cooler temperatures are expected to continue in the wake of the rainy system.
Temperatures are set to warm again by the weekend, with plenty of sunshine expected in the later part of the week. The Twin Cities can look forward to a mostly sunny Sunday, with highs near normal for mid-October.
