Specific states like West Madhya Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Odisha, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim will experience varying rains intensities on specific dates.

Other Regions

A fresh low-pressure area is likely to form off the Myanmar-Bangladesh coast. West India (other areas) will have light to moderate rains and gusty winds (30-40 kmph) for the next 5 days. A mid-tropospheric trough is active along longitude 70°E north of latitude 31°N, affecting northwest India.

Thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds reaching 30-40 kmph are likely over the region. Assam & Meghalaya will have light to moderate, isolated heavy rains from 20th-23rd September.

The withdrawal line of the southwest monsoon currently passes through specific locations in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir.
