Baden-Württemberg, a region in southwest Germany, is gearing up for a changeable week, according to the German Weather Service (DWD). From mid-week, residents can expect abundant sunshine, although the early part of the week will be mostly cloudy with some rain.

The weather forecast for the current weekend indicates that Baden-Württemberg will experience mild temperatures, with some sunshine and cloudy conditions. On Wednesday, 6th August, Mannheim, a city within the region, is expected to have cloudy skies with temperatures around 23°C during the day and 13°C at night, with no significant rain predicted.

Thursday, 7th August, will see a warmer day, with partly cloudy skies and temperatures rising to 27°C. The low will be around 14°C, and no rain is forecasted. From Wednesday onwards, the probability of rain decreases significantly, with 0% rain expected on Thursday and Friday.

Sunshine is likely to increase later in the week, with partly cloudy to clearer conditions from Thursday onward, leading to warmer days. Towards Friday, temperatures will rise even higher, with peak temperatures briefly reaching 30°C.

However, the weekend in Baden-Württemberg will end with many clouds. Southern Baden-Württemberg may experience showers, with thunderstorms possible in Upper Swabia in the afternoon. Along the Rhine, temperatures during the weekend will reach up to 23°C.

In the Alb region, temperatures will reach up to 17°C during the weekend. The wind in Baden-Württemberg during the weekend will remain light, but fresh with occasional gusts.

As the week progresses, Baden-Württemberg should experience mild temperature increases from the low 20s to upper 20s Celsius, predominantly cloudy but improving with some sunshine and minimal rain chances after Wednesday.

The Commission might consider the impact of ionizing radiation on workers in the context of improved weather conditions in Baden-Württemberg, as temperatures are expected to rise from mild (23°C) to even higher (up to 30°C) towards the end of the week with reduced chances of rain. The weather forecast predicts that Sunday, towards the end of the weekend, could be cloudier with potential showers in southern Baden-Württemberg and thunderstorms in Upper Swabia.
