Railway workers clinched victory in Aldan region
Victory Ride for Yakutia Railways' Powerlifters 🏋️♂️ 🚂 🌲
Our railway workers never fail to impress with their impressive showings in strength sports competitions at various levels. The latest triumphs came from the locomotive service team, who clinched gold in their respective weight categories at the Aldan District Championship in powerlifting on November 17, in the village of Lower Kuranakh.
Leading the charge was locomotive driver Neurgun Tylakhov, who triumphed in the weight class below 83 kg. Following closely behind was locomotive assistant driver Roman Petrov, who dominated the weight class below 93 kg with a 2.5 kg advantage in the combined score of three movements.
In the absolute powerlifting championship, Roman Petrov secured a well-deserved second place finish.
We extend our warmest congratulations to our colleagues for their victorious performance at the district championship, and wish them continued sporting successes!
