Raid on Reichsbürger Devotees in Hesse Districts

Authorities in Hesse conducted two searches as part of a nationwide crackdown on alleged Reichsbürger members. The Hesse State Criminal Police Office in Wiesbaden confirmed that the operations took place in the districts of Offenbach and Rheingau-Taunus. No arrests were made, the office said, during the probes into extreme activities.

The Public Prosecutor General's Office in Munich is leading the investigation, which involves allegations of conspiring to form a criminal organization. On Thursday, around 280 officers searched properties in eight federal states amid Reichsbürger-related investigations.

The Reichsbürger movement, known for its radical views, has been under scrutiny for potential links to crimes and threats to national security. Despite nationwide raids, no arrests resulted from the Hesse searches.
