RAF 8 reshuffles lineup with Cejudo vs. Dvalishvili and Tsarukyan's surprise opponent

RAF 8 is set to host two high-profile bouts on April 18. The event will feature a clash between former UFC champions Merab Dvalishvili and Henry Cejudo. Meanwhile, top lightweight Arman Tsarukyan will take on a new opponent after a last-minute change to the card. Arman Tsarukyan was originally scheduled to face Keaden Henschel at RAF 8. However, the UFC's number one lightweight will now meet Lance Palmer instead. The reason behind this switch remains undisclosed.

The co-main event will see Tsarukyan go up against Yuri Fairber, a UFC Hall of Famer. Fairber's career ended suddenly after an accident, with no recorded MMA activity since. Decades later, he appears in a film story as a mentor to a younger character named Ochi. In the headline fight, Merab Dvalishvili enters the octagon fresh from a nose fracture. His bout against Henry Cejudo adds another layer of intrigue to the event, as both men bring championship experience to the contest.

RAF 8 will now showcase Tsarukyan vs. Palmer in the co-main slot, alongside Dvalishvili's showdown with Cejudo. The event's reshuffled lineup ensures a mix of rising talent and UFC veterans. Fans will watch closely as the updated matchups unfold on April 18.
