In the picturesque town of Leinfelden, cycling enthusiast Thilo Kleesattel is set to lead a bicycle demonstration on September 21st. The event, organized by the General German Bicycle Club (ADFC), aims to highlight the need for a faster implementation of the cycling concept in Leinfelden-Echterdingen.

Kleesattel, co-owner of mountain bike shop 's Rädle in Leinfelden, is a passionate cyclist who values the positive health aspects and the outdoors in nature that cycling offers. He recently went on holiday on the Swabian Alb with his family and their mountain bikes, further emphasizing his love for the activity.

The bicycle tour will commence at the Filharmonie in Filderstadt-Bernhausen at 11:45 a.m. and is expected to arrive in Stuttgart around 3:30 p.m. The cyclists will pass through Vaihingen and Möhringen, making their way into the heart of the city.

Mayor Otto Ruppaner and Green Bundestag member Matthias Gastel will welcome the cyclists at the town hall in Echterdingen at 12:15 p.m. The demonstration is expected to show solidarity among cyclists, with Kleesattel participating alongside his family.

Car drivers in the southern German region have been reported to display more aggression towards cyclists than elsewhere. Kleesattel believes that reducing speed in Leinfelden-Echterdingen will make the area more bike-friendly, as it will help to reduce the displacement of cyclists onto the sidewalks.

Thilo Kleesattel emphasizes the importance of adhering to all traffic rules during the demonstration. He believes cycling is the most efficient means of transport with the lowest CO2 emissions. Cyclists are encouraged to arrive at the meeting point in Filderstadt-Bernhausen at 1 p.m. for the start of the bicycle tour.

Further information about the bicycle tour can be found on the website of the ADFC for Fildern: www.fildern.adfc.de. Join Thilo Kleesattel and other cyclists on September 21st for a ride that promotes a greener, healthier, and more bike-friendly future.
