Racing in the Skies Broadens with the Incorporation of Malaysian Highbred Horses

An Uncensored Look at Sky Racing World's International Expansion

Tossing caution to the wind, let's delve into the latest happenings at Australia's largest wagering and entertainment company, Sky Racing World (SRW). They've upped the ante with the grand entry of Malaysian Thoroughbred racing into their roster.

Broadening the Horizon

September closed with a bang as SRW added Malaysian Thoroughbred racing to their already swanky lineup, further beefing up the offerings of the Kentucky-based powerhouse distributor of international horse racing content.

The Tabcorp subsidiary isn't just pulling slots in North America; they're offering a smorgasbord of racing events from Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Japan, Singapore, South Africa, Argentina, the Caribbean, and now, Malaysia. They've got the southern hemisphere covered, with a solid foothold as the leading digital source for premium tipping content and live video broadcasts from these markets.

"We're bloody excited to add Malaysian Thoroughbred racing to our North American customer's screens," said David Haslett, SRW's fearless CEO, adding that the addition from the "historic Selangor Turf Club" will help SRW in their quest to "give punters a wild variety of betting options."

Michael Fong, CEO of Selangor Turf Club, echoed Haslett's sentiments, Expressing that they're "stoked to broadcast our races to a fresh audience in North America" and bring Malaysian racing to the "global stage."

Raging on Saturday Nights

With the introduction of Malaysian Thoroughbred racing, punters in North America now have more chances to place bets on a range of options, such as Win, Place, Exacta, Daily Double, Trifecta, Superfecta, Pick 3, and Pick 4, on the races from the famous Selangor Turf Club in Kuala Lumpur, happening predominantly on Saturday nights.

SRW will stream these races live on their new app, website, and major advance depositing wagering (ADW) platforms, with additional treats like past performances and picks for racing enthusiasts.

Recently, SRW made a bombshell move to commingle their wagering pools in the US and the UK via an agreement with Arena Racing Company. This partnership allows racing fanatics in the US to access SRW's UK pool, while UK punters can now bet on greyhound races in the US. This commingling business is expected to improve liquidity for bettors on both sides of the Atlantic.

Beyond showcasing SRW's greyhound racing in the UK, commingling the pools is all about giving customers a world-class gambling experience, regardless of their location. After all, ain't nobody got time for geographical limitations.
