Sorg Racing Aims for Success in Second Half of NLS Season

Sorg Racing, a team known for their impressive victories with the Schmersal Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport in the CUP 3 class, is gearing up for the second half of the 2025 Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS) season.

In the first half of the season, the team has maintained a high level of success, with regular drivers Tommy Gråberg (SWE) and Joshua Hislop (UK) securing multiple wins in the AM classification of the CUP3 class. The team's Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (Generation 992) also made a strong debut, finishing third overall in its first race.

The team's ambition for the upcoming six-hour race and subsequent NLS rounds remains unchanged. They aim to replicate the success they've achieved so far, with an eye on the podium.

In the CUP2 class, Sorg Racing's trio (Kikireshko, Grüter, Grosse) secured a second-place finish in the second 24h Qualifier race. The team manages up to four GT4 Caymans at each NLS race weekend, and their sister car, the Meiser RaceCarRental BMW 330i, has already stood on the podium twice with a third-place finish.

However, Sorg Rennsport has announced that they will no longer support the BMW 325i in the remainder of the season. The BMW 128i developed by Sorg Rennsport, on the other hand, made a promising debut in the VT2-FWD class during the 24h qualifiers, finishing in third place. The team aims to secure a class win on the podium for the VT2 rear-drivers as soon as possible.

Heiko Eichenberg (D) and Harley Haughton (UK), driving the Schmersal Porsche, currently rank as the third-best in the NLS standings. Eichenberg leads the Gentleman Trophy, while Haughton is in first place in the Junior Trophy.

The upcoming races for Sorg Racing include the KW 6h ADAC Ruhr-Pokal-Rennen on August 16, 2025, which marks the start of the second half of the season. This six-hour race is followed by two four-hour race rounds on September 13 and 14, 2025, marking rounds seven and eight of the season.

Sorg Racing started the 2025 NLS season in the CUP2 class with a podium finish, and they are eager to continue their winning streak in the remaining races of the season. With their strong record in the CUP3 class and the determination to repeat their success, Sorg Racing is undoubtedly a team to watch in the second half of the 2025 NLS season.

In the second half of the 2025 Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS) season, Sorg Racing aims to continue their winning streak, demonstrating their prowess particularly in the CUP3 class. This season, they've already secured multiple wins and podium finishes, showcasing their dominance in sports racing, most notably in racing events.
