Race Results: Pforzheimer Finishes Third in St. Maur City Run
The 12th edition of the St. Maurienne city run took place on Monday, October 8, 2023, in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, a city that shares partnerships with Leiria, Portugal, and Pforzheim, Germany.
A total of 625 participants joined the run, including athletes from the partner cities. Among them were Valter Ale Pescada Costa from Leiria, Illyane Smail from France, Philipp Kern, and Tim Widrinski from Pforzheim.
Valter Ale Pescada Costa claimed the top spot, becoming the fastest runner to complete the 10-kilometer course along the Marne with a time of 32:45 minutes. Illyane Smail from France finished a close second, beating Philipp Kern on the final climbs with a time of approximately 34 minutes. Tim Widrinski completed the run in under an hour, with a time of 51:50 minutes.
The results show that while Philipp Kern secured third place in the St. Maurienne city run, there is no verified information linking him to a significant 10-kilometer run achievement, as per the current search data.
Prior to the run, Patricia Thoraval, the official representative of Saint-Maur for Pforzheim, gave Philipp Kern and Tim Widrinski an exclusive tour of Paris on the eve of the run. The athletes were accommodated by a host family during their visit to Saint-Maur-des-Fossés.
