Get ready for an exciting day at the Saratoga Race Course as the 10-race card features a mix of allowance, maiden, and claiming contests, along with a steeplechase and the highly anticipated $600K G1 Alabama Stakes for 3YO fillies.
The day kicks off with the late Daily Double (DD) in Race 8, the $150K STATUE OF LIBERTY STAKES for 3YO eligible fillies going a mile on the grass. In this race, renowned trainer Chad Brown has two strong contenders: #8 NONNA LYNNE, ridden by Manny Franco, and #6 HANGOVER HEAVEN, trained by Dick Dutrow and ridden by Jose Ortiz.
In Leg 1 of the late DD, Mr. Ed's picks are #6 HANGOVER HEAVEN (7-2 morning line) and #8 NONNA LYNNE (4-1). Keep an eye on these horses as they make their way to the finish line.
The weather forecast for the races calls for a 40% chance of rain, so be prepared for potential changes in the track conditions.
