Ferrand-Prevot, a French cyclist riding for the Dutch team Visma Lease a Bike, distanced her competitors, including Sarah Gigante from Australia and Niam Fisher-Black, on the final climb of the mountain stage. Going into the final stage, Ferrand-Prevot held a lead of 2:37 minutes over Gigante, who moved up to the second overall position. Katarzyna Niewiadoma-Phinney finished the mountain stage in fourth place, 3:40 minutes behind Ferrand-Prevot in the overall standings. Demi Vollering finished in third place, 3:18 minutes behind the race leader.
