2025 CTCC China Touring Car Championship Ordos Race: A Thrilling Motorsport Culture Festival

The 2025 CTCC China Touring Car Championship Ordos Race was a spectacle of high-octane racing and cultural entertainment, transforming the city into a dynamic hub for motorsport and tourism.

The TCR China Series was dominated by the Lynk & Co team, with Zhu Daiwei, Zhang Zhiqiang, and Sunny Wang securing the top positions. Sunny Wong, another Lynk & Co driver, achieved notable results, finishing 5th overall and 4th in the Pro championship class. In the amateur category, Paul Poon from Teamwork Motorsport put on a strong performance, briefly running as high as 3rd overall during the race.

The China Cup saw a surprise victory by Gao Huayang from SAIC Volkswagen 333 Racing Team, who clinched the title with a last-lap overtake. Meanwhile, Beijing Seven Degrees Racing triumphed in the TC1 category.

The event was more than just racing; it integrated stunt car shows, music festivals, and driver autograph sessions, creating a vibrant motorsport culture festival. The CTCC Ordos Rap & EDM Music Festival and car stunt shows showcased the immense charm of motorsport and the vitality of integrated cultural, sports, and tourism development.

This "three-in-one" event model helped showcase Ordos as a dynamic cultural and tourism hub within China. Organizers emphasized fan engagement and entertainment alongside racing, enhancing the experience for attendees.

In the TCR China Challenge, Liang Jingxi from Guangzhou Spark Racing secured the runner-up position, with Liu Zichen from Zhejiang 326 Racing Team taking second place. Hu Heng from Guiyang DTM Racing By FORCE earned the third place, while Liu Chao from Delta Racing Team finished third on home turf.

An Junda and Guo Shen from Beijing Seven Degrees Racing won the TC2 class, and Shenzhen Bonoo Racing Team's Li Jiajun and Yu Xiaobo became the new winners in the TC3 class.

The spectator activity zone included booths from the CTCC Official Store, Michelin, Dongchedi, and others, offering rich and engaging prize-winning interactions and immersive experiences.

The CTCC Ordos race served as a golden link for Ordos' cultural tourism, presenting the city's exciting events to audiences both at home and abroad. As the CTCC season continues, the next races are planned at the Shanghai International Circuit, building on the momentum of the Ordos race weekend.
